iPhone 18 lineup prices in Vietnam: iPhone Duo tops $4,000

According to information from Apple and some of its official authorized retailers in Vietnam, the new iPhone lineup draws attention with the introduction of the foldable iPhone Duo alongside the traditional high-end iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

All models start with 256GB of storage and are available with up to 2TB.

For the iPhone 18 Pro, the 256GB version is priced at VND38.99 million ($1,504), while the 512GB, 1TB and 2TB versions cost VND45.49 million ($1,755), VND58.49 million ($2,257) and VND77.99 million ($3,000), respectively.

The larger iPhone 18 Pro Max is priced at VND41.99 million ($1,620) for the 256GB version, VND48.49 million ($1,871) for the 512GB version, VND61.49 million ($2,372) for the 1TB version and VND80.99 million ($3,125) for the 2TB version.

The highlight of the launch is the foldable iPhone Duo, which starts at VND64.99 million ($2,500) for the 256GB version.

The 512GB and 1TB versions are priced at VND71.49 million ($2,758) and VND84.49 million ($3,260), respectively, while the top-end 2TB version costs a record VND103.99 million ($4,012), making it the first iPhone to surpass the VND100 million ($3,860) mark in the Vietnamese market.

According to the schedule from Apple’s authorized retailers, preorders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will begin at 7:00 pm on September 12, with sales and deliveries starting at 8:00 am on September 18.

For the iPhone Duo, preorders will begin at 7:00 pm on October 16, with sales and deliveries starting on October 23.

iPhone Duo marks biggest change

At the launch event early on September 10, Apple’s new CEO John Ternus said that iPhone Duo is the most significant change to iPhone since the first generation. 

With an entirely new design and intuitive experiences, iPhone Duo demonstrates new possibilities when hardware and software are designed together, while redefining how people use a foldable phone, Ternus added.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, said “With iPhone 18 Pro, we’ve made advancements to the areas our users care about most: camera, performance, battery, and intelligence.

"And we didn’t just make incremental improvements in these areas — we took huge leaps forward to create the best Pro iPhone we’ve ever made.”

Joswiak noted that the iPhone 18 Pro makes it easier for users to take photos and record videos with its variable aperture, while giving creators greater flexibility and pros more control.

Alongside the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro, Apple also introduced several other new products, including the AirPods 5, Apple Watch 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.

The company also unveiled accessories such as cases and straps.
