Vietnam appreciates Russia’s status as major maritime power

Vietnam highly values Russia's position as a major maritime power and desires to deepen cooperation with the Maritime Board of Russia in a more substantive, effective, and comprehensive manner, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang told the second Vietnam-Russia maritime consultation meeting in Moscow last week.
