More than 500 durian pickup trucks set Guinness World Record in Vietnam

The event was supported by Ca Mau Fertilizer as part of its efforts to promote Vietnamese agricultural products on the global stage.

A convoy of more than 500 pickup trucks carrying durians in Dak Lak, located in Vietnam's Central Highlands, earned the Guinness World Record in the category 'Largest Parade of Fruit-Carrying Vehicles.'

The record marks a milestone for an industry that is increasingly strengthening its position in the agricultural market in Vietnam.

The parade was one of the highlights of the 2026 Dak Lak Durian Festival, bringing together local authorities, the Dak Lak Durian Association, growers, businesses, and large numbers of local residents.

The sight of more than 500 pickup trucks loaded with durians helped promote the Dak Lak durian brand, expand opportunities to reach domestic and international markets, and spotlight ambitions to take durians and other local agricultural products further afield.

Behind an international record lies the strength of an entire value chain. 

For Dak Lak durians to reach more markets, fruit quality, growing areas, farming practices, and the ability to meet market standards must all be improved in a coordinated manner.

Within that value chain, nutrition is one of the key inputs that determine crop growth and quality.
