Between 10:00 pm on Monday and noon on Tuesday, medical teams responded to 1,315 treatment cases, including 134 emergencies, of which 113 were transferred to hospitals, according to Ha Anh Duc, director of the ministry's medical examination department.

Among those treated were 12 official delegates, five members of the service contingent, seven parade participants, and two civilians, according to the health ministry.

Hanoi's health department recorded 664 treatments and 37 emergency cases, with 75 hospital transfers.

Military and police medical units handled hundreds of additional cases, including 37 requiring transfers.

Authorities deployed 211 medical teams with 1,097 personnel and 134 ambulances.

Crowds began gathering on Monday along parade routes.

Officials said prolonged exposure to heat and long wait times contributed to health issues.

Roughly 40,000 people took part in the military parade and procession in Hanoi on Tuesday morning, marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution's success (August 19) and National Day.

The event included 87 marching units from the military, police, and public organizations, along with flyovers by 30 military aircraft.

For the first time, Vietnam has presented a maritime parade involving naval forces, coast guards, border patrol, fisheries enforcement, and naval aviation at Cam Ranh military base in south-central Khanh Hoa Province, with footage broadcast to Hanoi's Ba Dinh Square.

Foreign military delegations from China, Russia, Laos, and Cambodia also participated in the Ba Dinh parade, each forming its own contingent.
