On Monday evening, residents observed the men repeatedly climbing coconut trees in the park opposite the Muong Thanh Hotel in Nha Trang Ward.

Witnesses said the men appeared intoxicated and ignored safety precautions while harvesting coconuts in a crowded public area.

Locals warned that the activity posed risks to both the men and passers-by, while also damaging the beach town’s urban landscape.

After being warned by bystanders, the men left the area.

A representative of Nha Trang Urban Environment JSC, which manages the park, confirmed the incident and said the company will coordinate with local authorities to strengthen patrols and enforcement, aiming to prevent similar incidents and maintain public safety and urban order.
