The drill, organized by the city’s fire prevention and rescue police unit, was meant to strengthen coordination among forces, improve technical skills, and ensure readiness to respond to accidents in the popular tourist area.
The first simulation took place near Linh Ung Pagoda, where a tourist slipped during a landslide and fell seven meters onto a rocky cliff.
The victim suffered multiple injuries and was unconscious.

Rescue teams used ropes, protective gear, and pulleys to reach the victim, provide first aid, and lift them to safety before handing them over to medical staff.

While the cliff rescue was underway, another scenario unfolded at a nearby beach.
A group of 20 people engaged in team-building activities, with eight entering the water about 30 meters offshore.
A rip current pulled them away, leaving three exhausted, three pushed 40 meters farther out, and two missing.
Rescue teams quickly deployed flotation devices and ropes to bring the victims back to shore.
The city’s river rescue unit joined the operation, diving to locate the missing swimmers.
