Da Nang to host 6 fireworks shows on Lunar New Year’s Eve

The Da Nang People’s Committee has announced that the shows will last 15 minutes, starting at 12:00 am on February 17.

The displays will take place simultaneously at six locations across the expanded city area, covering both former Da Nang and former Quang Nam Province.

Three sites are located in the former Da Nang region, including the area in front of the Hoa Khanh Ward People’s Committee headquarters, Bach Dang Street in Hoa Cuong Ward, and the resettlement area on the western ring road in Hoa Vang Commune.

The remaining three sites are located in the former Quang Nam region, where fireworks will be launched at the Con Bap tourist site in Hoi An Ward, 24/3 Square on Hung Vuong Street in Ban Thach Ward, and at the square in Nui Thanh Commune.

This year’s shows will feature artistic fireworks without background music, using FireOne automatic and L100S semi-automatic systems.

Both high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks will be supplied by Chemical Company 21 under the General Department of Defense Industry.

The municipal administration emphasized that preparations must be thorough, with close coordination among agencies to ensure absolute safety for people, vehicles, and equipment before, during, and after the displays.
