According to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command, visitors can pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The mausoleum is closed to visitors on Mondays and Fridays.
During the cold season, from November 1 to March 31 of the following year, visiting hours are from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, visiting hours are extended until 11:30 am.
On the first day of the Lunar New Year, the mausoleum will remain open for visitors even if the day falls on a Monday or Friday.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command issued the notice to inform government agencies, organizations, socio-political groups, residents and international visitors so they can arrange their visits accordingly.
The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command had earlier announced that the mausoleum would undergo its scheduled periodic maintenance from September 4 to November 2.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command strictly followed the instructions of senior officials from the Ministry of National Defense to complete the 2026 maintenance plan.
The technical equipment systems remained stable. Absolute safety was maintained at the mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square and the Monument to War Heroes and Martyrs.
The maintenance work has now been largely completed, allowing the mausoleum to reopen and welcome Vietnamese residents and international visitors wishing to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, commemorate fallen heroes and take part in regular political and cultural activities.
