The celebration marked the latest Indian wedding party to take place in Da Nang, reflecting the city’s growing efforts to position itself as a leading wedding tourism hub.
The wedding of bride Shreya and groom Ayush featured distinctive traditional Indian ceremonies such as Gauri Pooja, Sehrabandi and Baraat, leaving a strong impression on attending guests, according to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center.
Upon selecting Da Nang as the destination to celebrate their union, the couple received a warm welcome from the city’s tourism authorities immediately after arriving at Da Nang International Airport.
Congratulations were displayed on LED screens in the arrival area.
Representatives of the center presented flowers and souvenirs to the couple, expressing gratitude and best wishes for choosing the city for their special day.
“We were truly impressed by the warm and thoughtful hospitality of Da Nang, along with the meaningful gifts that made our wedding even more special,” the couple shared.
“The beauty of the destination and the high quality of tourism services have touched our hearts.
"We will certainly recommend Da Nang to our friends as a perfect place to create unforgettable memories."
The wedding of Shreya and Ayush was considered the opening event for Da Nang’s wedding tourism activities this year.
In 2026, Da Nang will continue to promote its wedding tourism brand ‘Da Nang - Where Happiness Begins,’ with a focus on supporting wedding events, honeymoons, and related activities.
The initiative aims to extend visitor stays and increase tourism spending.

A new highlight this year is the flexible adjustment of support scale to better align with current wedding trends, alongside deeper experiential offerings that emphasize local culture and personalized services tailored to different markets.
Silent celebratory fireworks are also being introduced as a distinctive feature of Da Nang’s wedding tourism offerings.
Besides, the city is strengthening public-private partnerships, connecting tourism businesses, wedding planners and airlines, while accelerating the use of digital technology in promotion and communications.
The center reported that in 2025, the city hosted and supported 50 wedding tourism events from key markets including the United States, Australia, India, and overseas Vietnamese communities.
In the first quarter of this year, a number of luxury hotels and resorts such as Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort & Spa, Shilla Monogram Danang, Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An, and Furama Resort Da Nang have already received multiple bookings from groups planning weddings in the city.
