Over the three-day event, activities will include the Export Forum, 'Strengthening the Flexibility and Resilience of Vietnamese Enterprises Amidst Global Economic Fluctuations,' as well as thematic seminars on international integration, global standards, green solutions for production and sustainable exports, and ways to enhance the value of Vietnamese products.
The Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo will feature professionally organized business-to-business (B2B) matching sessions by product category, based on the specific sourcing needs of international buyers.
The event will also include field visits organized with local departments of industry and trade, taking international buying delegations to factories and production facilities to assess suppliers' capabilities and explore opportunities for long-term commercial contracts.
The expo has significantly expanded in scale, bringing together more than 500 reputable Vietnamese exporters across more than 450 booths.
Under the integrated one-destination, multiple-industry model, the expo will bring together four key sectors: food and beverages; home goods and furniture; lifestyle and healthcare products; and export supply chains.
The event comes as Vietnam continues to strengthen its role as a strategic manufacturing and supply hub for the region and the world, amid growing efforts to diversify international supply chains and rising demands for green transformation, traceability and sustainable development under ESG standards.
Participating businesses have therefore been carefully selected, with international certifications and the capacity to supply high-quality products that meet the preferences of developed markets.
Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo is expected to welcome more than 500 international business delegations from 60 countries and territories, with 3,000 selectively arranged B2B meetings and 13,000 direct business connections and exchanges in the exhibition area.
Notably, the event will bring together leading multinational retail groups and distribution networks, including Walmart (U.S.), Imcosa S.A. de C.V. (Mexico), H&M (Sweden), Aeon (Japan), Central Group (Thailand), Wumart and Metro (China), and LuLu (UAE).
The event will also feature specialized supermarket chains and global trading companies from Northern and Eastern Europe, Canada, China, and India, among other markets.
It will further expand participation from mid-sized distributors, convenience store chains and international e-commerce platforms, creating diverse export opportunities for Vietnamese businesses across different segments.
Beyond serving as a platform for direct trade connections between Vietnamese businesses and international distributors and buying delegations, Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo will offer a series of specialized activities to help businesses strengthen their competitiveness, meet green standards, and pursue sustainable growth as they enter global markets.
Through business matchmaking, professional exchanges, and field visits, the event will continue to serve as a strategic trade promotion platform, helping businesses stay abreast of emerging trends, strengthen management capabilities, and expand opportunities for cooperation with international partners.
The event series is co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to help Vietnamese businesses deepen their participation in global production and supply chains and adapt to new standards for the green economy and sustainable development amid increasing international integration.
The event will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
