This serves as a testament to Vietnam's thriving hospitality industry and its unwavering commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences, Booking.com added.
This year’s awards also highlight the diverse accommodation preferences of travelers across Vietnam.
Hotels continue to be the most popular choice in the country, with 5,361 award recipients, followed by apartments with 2,478, homestays with 1,651, aparthotels with 645, and villas with 516.
Powered by more than 370 million verified reviews from travelers across the world, the 14th edition of the Traveller Review Awards celebrates Booking.com’s partners who consistently deliver outstanding hospitality and service across every corner of the globe.
In 2026, 1.81 million partners across 221 countries and territories were recognized globally, a five-percent increase compared to the year prior.
This includes 1,817,848 accommodation providers, 1,977 rental car companies, and 137 airport transfer suppliers.
Globally, Italy continues to lead for the ninth consecutive year with 214,666 award-winning partners, followed by France with 170,596 recipents and Spain with 152,292 award winners.
To be recognized with an award, accommodation partners had to have an average review score of 8.0 (out of 10) or higher based on at least three reviews, as of 11:59 pm (CET) on November 30, 2025.
As these reviews are never edited or adjusted in any way, travelers can reference them for an authentic account of what the real traveler experience is like at every place to stay or with every ground transport provider on Booking.com, the website said.
The 2026 Booking.com's Traveller Review Awards also listed out the most welcoming destinations in Vietnam and around the globe.
The heritage town of Hoi An in Da Nang City, central Vietnam has recently been ranked as the most welcoming destination in Vietnam for 2026, followed by Mai Chau (Phu Tho Province), Thu Islet (Lam Dong Province), Ninh Binh Province, Ha Giang (Tuyen Quang Province), Con Dao (Ho Chi Minh City), Phong Nha (Quang Tri Province), Da Lat (Lam Dong Province), Phu Quoc (An Giang Province), and Cao Bang Province.

These destinations reflect the incredible breadth of Vietnam’s travel landscape, all united by a shared spirit of heartfelt hospitality that continues to leave a lasting impression on every guest, Booking.com said.
This year’s list for Vietnam showcases a vibrant tapestry of locations, from historic old towns and tranquil mountain retreats to sun-drenched coastlines, it added.
“A destination is defined as much by the warmth of its people as by its landscapes and heritage,” said Branavan Aruljothi, Booking.com’s country head in Vietnam.
“Whether it is a host in Hoi An preserving architectural history or a local community in Ha Giang and Mai Chau welcoming travelers into their daily lives, these genuine interactions shape experiences that travelers remember long after their journey ends.
“The Traveller Review Awards are our way of recognizing these hospitality heroes and expressing gratitude from Booking.com and millions of travelers from all around the world.”
