S. Korean drama 'My Royal Nemesis' team to visit Vietnam for reward trip

According to the report, the group is scheduled to depart South Korea on July 7 and spend four days and three nights on the island. 

Lead actors Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Joon are expected to join the trip along with members of the cast and production crew, although some participants may be absent due to scheduling commitments.

The trip comes as the series continues to perform strongly in South Korea. 

The drama topped the country's television drama brand reputation rankings for June and has led television ratings for multiple consecutive weeks, according to data cited in local media reports.

Data released by Good Data Corporation showed the series ranked first in discussion volume during the first week of June and maintained that position for three consecutive weeks.

The drama has also attracted international audiences. 

Netflix data showed the series recorded 4.1 million views and entered the platform's global Top 10 list for non-English television programs.

The Korean Business Research Institute said the drama ranked first among 21 television series monitored over the past month, with a brand reputation index exceeding 10 million points based on analysis of more than 66 million data points.

'My Royal Nemesis' stars Lim Ji Yeon as Kang Dan Sim, a woman from the Joseon era who is sentenced to death before unexpectedly finding herself in modern-day Korea in the body of an actress. 

The series also stars Heo Nam Joon as Cha Se Gye, the heir to a major conglomerate.

The 14-episode drama has aired 10 episodes and is scheduled to conclude later this month.
