The park site was originally planned for the Phan Dinh Phung sports hall project, located at 8 Vo Van Tan Street in Xuan Hoa Ward.
The handover ceremony took place on Sunday afternoon at the park site, marking the transfer of the park from sponsor Phat Dat Real Estate Development JSC to the Xuan Hoa Ward administration.
The event was attended by city and local officials, including Nguyen Van Duoc, chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, Vo Van Minh, chairman of the municipal People’s Council, and Tran Quang Lam, head of the Department of Construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Bui Quang Anh Vu, CEO of Phat Dat, said the company strongly supported the city’s policy of transforming centrally-located vacant land into public parks and flower gardens to serve residents during the Lunar New Year holiday.
He said that immediately after receiving the city’s directive, the company mobilized maximum manpower and resources to complete the project in time for the holiday.

On behalf of city leaders, Duoc thanked the sponsor and construction units for their rapid work, contributing to a more joyful, warm, and fulfilling holiday for residents, particularly those in Xuan Hoa Ward.
He urged the ward administration to carefully manage, preserve, and maintain the park for long-term community benefit.

In addition to green space, the park includes community activity zones, art spaces, and fitness and sports areas.
