Video: Saigon River pedestrian bridge construction accelerated ahead of planned 2027 Lunar New Year opening
The project investor and contractors of the pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River are accelerating construction to complete the remaining work and put the bridge into operation before the 2027 Lunar New Year.

On October 28, 2026, workers and engineers at the construction site were seen working at a fast pace to complete the final items.
Below the bridge, waterway traffic remains busy.
Notably, container barges and large cargo vessels pass smoothly and safely beneath the pedestrian bridge's main span.
