Vietnam ranks among world’s most beautiful countries on Condé Nast Traveler list

The U.S.-based travel magazine described countries on the list as offering varied scenery, from tropical rainforests to dramatic waterfalls, noting that perceptions of beauty are subjective.

China topped the ranking, followed by Australia, Brazil, India, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, France, and Indonesia in the top 10.

Condé Nast Traveler described Vietnam as a destination with some of the most diverse landscapes in the region, where a journey across the country offers changing terrain, ecosystems, and scenery.

Among locations highlighted were Ha Long Bay, known for thousands of limestone islands rising from emerald waters, and the former Ha Giang Province, noted for its mountainous terrain, winding roads, and local cultural experiences.

Ha Giang was merged into the expanded Tuyen Quang Province under a nationwide administrative restructuring in July 2025.

The magazine also cited Ninh Van Bay for its clear waters and coral ecosystems, and Phu Quoc for its tropical environment, including forests, white-sand beaches, and coastal resorts.

Vietnam has in recent years gained increasing recognition on the global tourism map through similar international rankings.
