The Khanh Hoa Traffic Police Division said two of its officers assisted in escorting the foreign tourist to Vinmec Nha Trang International Hospital for emergency treatment.
At around 1:00 pm on September 5, two international tourists were using a service at a facility on Ngo Duc Ke Street in Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, when one of the women suddenly showed unusual symptoms and collapsed.
Her condition deteriorated rapidly, prompting staff at the facility to immediately place her in a vehicle and take her to Vinmec Nha Trang International Hospital.
While the vehicle was en route, the tourist began showing signs of losing consciousness.
When the vehicle reached the intersection of Nguyen Thien Thuat and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Streets, local residents spotted two traffic police officers patrolling the area and signaled for help.
The officers quickly used a specialized motorcycle with its priority lights activated to clear the way for the vehicle carrying the tourist, helping it move smoothly through congested streets.
Thanks to the timely assistance from the traffic police officers, the foreign tourist was safely taken to the emergency department of Vinmec Nha Trang International Hospital.
The prompt and responsible actions of the Khanh Hoa traffic police officers were praised by local residents.
A witness later posted on social media expressing sincere thanks to the Khanh Hoa traffic police.
