Microsoft cut the number of approved vendors to eight from 15 last year after tightening its annual evaluation, which requires deep Windows compatibility, performance and stability testing, and certification from independent laboratories with low false-detection rates.

CyRadar, backed by Vietnam’s FPT Group, remained on the list for the second year alongside global firms such as Norton, McAfee, and Avira.

The company said its platform focuses on early detection of abnormal activities at endpoints and blocks threats spread through email, the Internet, and phishing attacks.

It has detected more than 50 million suspicious files and links and is being introduced in markets including the United States, France, Britain, South Korea, and Japan.

In Vietnam, CyRadar said it protects more than 8,000 endpoints at government agencies and businesses, including provincial authorities in old Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc Provinces and the Medlatec healthcare network.

Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc Provinces were merged into a single expanded Dong Nai Province under a nationwide administrative reorganization in July.

CyRadar founder and CEO Nguyen Minh Duc said the inclusion showed the company could meet rising global standards for cybersecurity.
