Located in Tinh Khe Commune, the pedestrian street stretches 800 meters long and 12 meters wide, running north of the existing restaurant strip from the mini square stage near the Khe Ky Bridge to the old Tinh Ky intersection with Vo Bam Street.
Under the approved design, the pedestrian space is divided into four functional zones.
The first area focuses on photo spots and live performances, including music and street art shows.
A second zone features 10 booths displaying and selling local products and souvenirs.
The third area consists of 20 food stalls offering street food, fast food, and non-alcoholic beverages.
A fourth section includes 10 booths selling alcoholic drinks.
All stalls use mobile canopies for easy installation and removal, ensuring the road can return to normal use after events.

The walking street will open daily from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
During these hours, traffic will be blocked and rerouted to ensure pedestrian safety.
After 10:00 pm, the street will reopen to vehicles.
Pham Quoc Vuong, chairman of Tinh Khe Commune People’s Committee, said about 20 households have registered to operate businesses at the site.
The commune is also calling for private investment in decorative lighting in exchange for advertising rights, reducing pressure on the local budget.
Vuong added that the pedestrian street is located far from residential areas and right next to My Khe Beach, making it suitable for music and art activities without disturbing local life, while offering visitors more night-time entertainment.
My Khe is Quang Ngai’s most famous beach, traditionally busy only during the day.
The walking street is expected to create a new night-time tourism product, promoting local specialties such as anchovies and fish sauce from the old Tinh Ky area.
This is the second pedestrian street project launched in Quang Ngai in early 2026, following the Tra River night street along the southern bank of the Tra Khuc River, as the province pushes to expand services and tourism.
