Vietnam’s EV maker VinFast on Tuesday announced the completion of its three strategic automotive brand lines and unveiled two new ultra-luxury models, including the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S.

According to VinFast, its product portfolio is organized into three clearly differentiated brand lines – Lac Hong for ultra-luxury vehicles, VF for mass-market personal mobility, and Green for transport service.

The Lac Hong range comprises three models, including the 900LX, 900S, and 800S.

The 900LX includes an advanced armored version and made its debut in 2025, while the newly revealed 800S and 900S are expected to be officially sold on the market in 2027.

Meanwhile, the VF line-up spans a broad spectrum of personal electric vehicles, from the compact VF3 to VF9, alongside the seven-seater VF MPV7.

The Green brand focuses on commercial mobility solutions with models including the Limo, Herio, Nerio, and Minio Green.

Both the Lac Hong 800S and 900S are equipped with a tri-motor electric configuration – one motor at the front and two at the rear – delivering a combined output of up to 460kW.

The autos also feature a newly developed full active suspension system designed to provide exceptional ride comfort, placing them in direct comparison with leading global ultra-luxury automobiles.

The two models share a cohesive design language that emphasizes brand identity through distinctive symbolic detailing.

Premium materials and advanced equipment define both exterior and interior aesthetics.

Inside, the cabins are meticulously crafted using top-tier materials such as Nappa leather, rare woods, and gold-plated accents.

The emphasis on craftsmanship signals VinFast’s ambition to compete at the highest echelon of automotive luxury.

Both models are outfitted with advanced smart technologies and modern safety systems.

Luxury-exclusive amenities include zero-gravity seating, automatic door operation, and high-end entertainment systems sourced from leading global brands.

VinFast said the separation of its three brand lines marks a standardization of its product portfolio following a period of rapid expansion.

The move underscores the company’s ambition to expand simultaneously in the mass-market, commercial-service, and ultra-luxury segments.

Duong Thi Thu Trang, deputy CEO of VinFast’s automotive sales division, said the completion of the three-brand structure lays the foundation for a new phase of development characterized by professionalism, systematic growth, and breakthrough expansion.

To date, VinFast has developed and launched more than 15 electric vehicle models, maintaining a dominant position in Vietnam’s automotive market for the past 16 consecutive months.

In 2025, VinFast reported record-breaking domestic sales of 175,099 vehicles, making it the most popular car brand among Vietnamese consumers and reinforcing its status as the country’s leading automotive manufacturer.
