HCMC – Thirty-four workers were injured after a gas transmission pipeline exploded at the South Korean company Seojin Auto in Bac Ninh Province today, August 30.

The explosion happened on the third floor of the firm, located in the Dai Dong industrial zone, at 9:10 a.m. on the day, according to the provincial Department of Information and Communications. Among the victims who were rushed to the Bac Ninh General Hospital for treatment after the explosion, seven sustained severe injuries, the local media reported. After the incident, the competent forces were quickly dispatched to the scene for search and rescue operations and investigation. Seojin Auto, which specializes in manufacturing electronic items, has been operational in Bac Ninh Province for five years, employing thousands of workers.
