The Hoan Kiem Ward administration said it is decorating the area around Hoan Kiem Lake with an art installation themed 'Ribbon of Memories.'

The project is being carried out through private funding to mark the 72nd anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2026) and Vietnam Culture Day on November 24.
The program aims to create a visual focal point and improve the quality of the public space around Hoan Kiem Lake.
The centerpiece is the 'Ribbon of Memories,' comprising a scenic elevated walkway combined with a lighting system and mirror frames.

The design is intended to blend with the landscape of Hoan Kiem Lake while creating an open space for residents and visitors to visit, explore, and take photos.
The installation is also intended to offer new perspectives of the lake and encourage people to interact with the urban space in a more engaging and lively way.

According to the Hoan Kiem Ward administration, the 'Ribbon of Memories' installation will be in place for a limited period.
The organizer will be responsible for dismantling the installations and restoring the lakeside area to its original condition after the display ends.
