The third competition night of the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) held in Da Nang City, central Vietnam on Saturday brought an explosion of emotions and awe-inspiring artistry as Canada and China illuminated the sky with dazzling displays of fireworks.

Held under the theme ‘The Path of Unity,’ the night captivated both residents and tourists alike along the iconic Han River.

After days of heavy rain, the weather cleared just in time, offering cool and comfortable conditions for the audience to fully enjoy the long-awaited performances.

The night opened with a stunning show titled ‘Star Dust’ by Orion Fireworks from Canada.

The display transformed the Han River into a canvas of cosmic beauty as fireworks cascaded like glittering meteors, mimicking the delicate fall of shooting stars and the swirling motion of constellations.

Brilliant red, gold, and green bursts erupted like a cosmic explosion, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

A highlight of Canada’s performance was the seamless choreography of light and sound.

Set to the uplifting tunes of Power of Love and Never Give Up on Your Dreams, the display struck an emotional chord, blending harmony and spectacle in equal measure.

Meanwhile, China’s Jiangxi Yanfeng team, the runner-up at DIFF 2024, brought spectators to a mythical tale through layers of vibrant, morphing fireworks.

The team’s return to the DIFF stage was marked by dynamic transitions and flawless technical execution.

Multi-layered color changes and a well-composed visual structure created a cinematic experience that left the audience in awe.

China delivered a true feast of light, skillfully narrating a captivating story through the language of pyrotechnics.

As the final fireworks faded, the sound of applause filled the air.

DIFF 2025 is reaching its climax, treating audiences to breathtaking performances.

Over 12 editions, the annual festival has attracted nearly 11 million visitors and contributed an estimated VND38 trillion (US$1.4 billion) to the local tourism sector.

More than just a fireworks festival, DIFF offers a wide range of experiences, including outdoor Sky AR technology, vibrant live music, and performances by renowned artists.

DIFF 2025 is set to continue with its fourth competition night, featuring teams from Portugal and the UK on June 21.

South Korea and Italy will compete on June 28.

The grand finale will be broadcast live on VTV1 on July 12.
