From March 15, the airline plans to launch a new Da Nang-Phu Quoc route, further expanding its domestic network and linking major tourism destinations.
The carrier’s presence in Da Nang is expected to channel more visitors to entertainment and leisure complexes across central Vietnam.
The coastal city is also preparing for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026, which is set to open in late May with 10 competing teams and is anticipated to draw large crowds.
As of late this month, Sun PhuQuoc Airways operates a fleet of 10 aircraft.
The airline recently signed a contract to purchase 40 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner wide-body aircraft, laying the groundwork for future intercontinental routes.
