His left eye remains bruised, and his vision is still impaired following the assault.

At around 1:00 am on August 12, Anh and a group of friends were sitting and eating snacks on a beach near their hotel in Bac Nha Trang Ward.
At that time, a group of about seven people approached the area.
One of them then stood nearby and urinated on the beach where Anh and his friends were eating.
Anh approached the man and asked him to stop.
The man reportedly became angry and then punched Anh in the face.
The attack stopped only when others intervened.
Anh’s friends recorded the entire incident on a mobile phone.
Afterward, Anh’s friends took him to a police station in the ward to report the incident before he went to hospital for medical treatment.
