The fireworks show is scheduled to take place from 9:30 pm to 9:45 pm.
Accordingly, vehicles will be banned from entering certain downtown areas from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm to ensure public safety during the event.
Streets closed to traffic
- Le Loi (from Pasteur Street to Dong Khoi Street)
- Nguyen Hue (from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street)
- Dong Khoi Street (from Mac Thi Buoi Street to Ton Duc Thang Street)
- Ton Duc Thang Street (from Nguyen Sieu Street to Khanh Hoi Bridge)
- Vo Van Kiet Street (from Ho Tung Mau Street to Khanh Hoi Tunnel)
- Ngo Van Nam Street (from Nguyen Sieu Street to Ton Duc Thang Street)
- Nguyen Sieu Street (from Ngo Van Nam Street to Ton Duc Thang Street)
- Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (from Hoang Dieu Street to Khanh Hoi Bridge)
- Ham Nghi Street (from Ho Tung Mau Street to Ton Duc Thang Street)
- Hai Trieu Street (from Ho Tung Mau Street to Nguyen Hue Street)
- Nguyen Thiep Street (From Dong Khoi Street to Nguyen Hue Street)
- Huynh Thuc Khang Street (from Ho Tung Mau Street to Nguyen Hue Street)
- Ton That Thiep Street (from Ho Tung Mau Street to Nguyen Hue Street)
- Ngo Duc Ke Street (from Dong Khoi Street to Ho Tung Mau Street)
- Mac Thi Buoi Street (from Dong Khoi Street to Nguyen Hue Street)
- Hai Ba Trung Street (from Dong Du Street to Me Linh Roundabout)
- Ba Son and Khanh Hoi Bridges
In addition, all streets surrounding Me Linh Roundabout will also be closed, including Ngo Duc Ke, Ho Huan, Phan Van Dat, Thi Sach, and Hai Ba Trung.
Alternate routes for drivers
To minimize disruption, local police have recommended the following alternative routes:
- From Binh Thanh District to District 4: Nguyen Huu Canh → Ton Duc Thang → Nguyen Du → Cach Mang Thang Tam → Nguyen Thi Nghia → Nguyen Thai Hoc → Ong Lanh Bridge → Hoang Dieu → Nguyen Tat Thanh.
- From District 4 to Binh Thanh District: Nguyen Tat Thanh → Hoang Dieu → Ong Lanh Bridge → Nguyen Thai Hoc → Nguyen Thi Nghia → Cach Mang Thang Tam → Nguyen Thi Minh Khai → Xo Viet Nghe Tinh.
- From Thu Duc City to District 3 and District 5: Vo Nguyen Giap → Dien Bien Phu → Dinh Tien Hoang → Vo Thi Sau → Ba Thang Hai → Le Hong Phong.
- From District 3 and District 5 to Thu Duc City: Le Hong Phong → Dien Bien Phu → Vo Nguyen Giap.
Access for local businesses and hotels
Vehicles from businesses, restaurants, and hotels within the restricted zone around Me Linh Roundabout will only be allowed to exit toward the roundabout and will not be permitted to enter Dong Khoi Street once the area is cordoned off.
The city will also prohibit vehicles from stopping or parking on the following bridges for fireworks viewing: Thu Thiem, Binh Loi, Binh Trieu, Mong, Calmette, Ong Lanh, Hang Xanh Overpass, Go Dua Overpass, Phu My, Nguyen Huu Canh Overpass, Kinh Thanh Da, Saigon, and Rach Chiec.
Drivers are required to slow down and follow traffic police instructions or obey electronic signs and traffic signals when approaching the restricted areas.
Suggested parking locations for grand parade on April 30
For those attending the event, parking lots are available at:

- Cao Thang Technical College - 65 Huynh Thuc Khang, District 1
- Hoa Lu Sports Center - 2 Dinh Tien Hoang, District 1
- Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens - 2 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1
- Tao Dan Park - Truong Dinh, District 1
- September 23 Park - Pham Ngu Lao, District 1
- Vincom Center - 72 Le Thanh Ton, District 1
- Takashimaya – Saigon Center - 65 Le Loi, District 1
- Diamond Plaza - 34 Le Duan, District 1
Residents are encouraged to use these facilities or find other parking options within a one-kilometer radius and walk to the event site.
