A subsidiary of Vietnamese realty developer Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) has registered indirect control of a new Trump-branded real estate firm in Vietnam, filings with the country’s State Securities Commission show.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the US$1.5-billion Khoai Chau urban, eco-tourism, and golf complex project, or the Trump International Hung Yen complex, was held on Wednesday in Hung Yen Province, northern Vietnam, marking the first Trump-branded development in the Southeast Asian country.
