Vietnam Electricity Group targets global top 500 as it clears accumulated losses

Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) said it had fully eliminated its accumulated losses incurred in 2022-23 and registered to join the global top 500, but reaching that goal by 2030 will require the state-owned power giant to significantly expand revenue, maintain annual profit margins of at least 3 percent, and overcome major financial and restructuring challenges.
