The system is operated by Viettel AI, a unit of the military-run telecoms and technology group, and is installed at Viettel's Hoa Lac technical center in Hanoi, the company said.
Viettel said the DGX B200 system delivers up to 1.5 exaFLOPs of FP8 performance, making it one of Nvidia's most advanced AI computing platforms currently available.
The company said the system would allow Viettel to build and operate large-scale AI infrastructure domestically, supporting research, development, and deployment of AI models tailored to Vietnam and compliant with local regulations.
Nguyen Manh Quy, director of Viettel AI, said the platform would enable the development of AI technologies serving Vietnamese users, businesses, and government digital transformation efforts.
The DGX B200 is based on Nvidia's Blackwell GPU architecture, which is designed for large and complex AI workloads and is being adopted by major global technology companies, according to Viettel.
