The cafés are located in the Indian city’s major shopping malls including Elan Epic Mall, AIPL Joy Central, and AIPL Business Club.

Located just 30 kilometers from New Delhi, Gurugram is known as one of India’s leading hubs for finance, industry, and information technology, as well as luxury and medical tourism.

According to the rollout plan, franchise partner FranGlobal will open three more outlets during the rest of the year to strengthen the brand’s visibility in the billion-strong market.

The fourth and fifth stores will open later this month in two major malls in Gurugram, while the sixth is set to launch in early December at Airia Mall, marking Three O’Clock’s continued expansion in India.

FranGlobal chairman Gaurav Marya said India’s young demographic, with around 65 percent of its population under 35, presents enormous potential for international franchises.

“Although India is traditionally a tea-drinking nation, coffee culture is booming among young consumers,” he said.

“We aim to build a strong international brand presence with the goal of reaching 300 stores within the next five years.

“We’ve also signed sub-franchise agreements to open in Gujarat and Hyderabad in early 2026."

Speaking at the grand opening, Nguyen Phi Van, chairwoman of the Vietnam Franchising and Licensing Network, highlighted that Three O’Clock represents a milestone for Vietnamese franchising.

“This is not just about exporting coffee beans, it's about exporting business models and brand identity," she said.

“In the next two years, we expect many more Vietnamese franchises, including small and medium enterprises, to go global."

India is the first market in South Asia, also known as the Indian subcontinent, where FranGlobal is rolling out the brand under its 2025 franchise agreement with Vietnam’s Teatime JSC, the owner of the coffee chain Three O’Clock.

As per this franchise agreement, FranGlobal is set to open stores in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, committing to opening at least 100 outlets across the subcontinent within the next decade.

Home to 1.4 billion people and the world’s fifth-largest economy by GDP, India offers vast opportunities for international consumer brands, especially those appealing to its fast-growing young urban population.
