This year’s awards are notable for the participation of Chef Thomas Andreas Gugler, former president of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs/WACS), who served as Chef of Honour and head of the Master Chefs title judging panel. He has extensive experience in evaluating and judging international culinary competitions.

Also participating was Chef Martin Yan, renowned for his television cooking show Yan Can Cook, alongside respected chefs and experts from across Asia.

In addition to the Top Outstanding F&B Brand 2026 award, Ngon Garden also received the Top 10 Most Popular Restaurants award.

A representative of the restaurant said: “We are delighted and deeply moved that Ngon Garden’s more than 21-year journey has been recognised at an international culinary event."

"This is a shared joy for everyone who has been part of the Ngon family, and it also encourages us to continue preserving and sharing the rich values of Vietnamese cuisine with the world," he said.

The restaurant has also welcomed numerous diplomatic delegations and heads of state during their visits or official trips to Vietnam.

Most recently, Timor-Leste’s prime minister, his wife and a delegation of more than 50 people visited the restaurant.

Images of the prime minister preparing Vietnamese dishes in the kitchen, including making crab spring rolls, pouring banh xeo (Vietnamese sizzling pancakes) and slicing cucumbers for grilled pork spring rolls, gained widespread attention on social media.
