Booking data for the first half of 2026 showed Mui Ne ranked eighth among emerging destinations searched by international travelers, with demand rising about 20 percent from a year earlier.
The list also includes Bilbao, Barranquilla, Philadelphia, Guangzhou, Sal, Manaus, Muenster, Kochi, and Port Douglas.
The company said its survey of more than 25,000 travelers across the Asia-Pacific region showed a move away from checklist-style tourism toward trips focused on individual interests and self-discovery.
Domestically, Mui Ne also ranked ninth among the most searched destinations by Vietnamese travelers, up one place from the previous year.
Booking.com attributed the destination’s appeal to its mix of coastal landscapes and outdoor activities, including sand dunes, fishing villages, and water sports.
