Cung Quynh Anh, deputy director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said tourism activities in Nha Trang remain stable, even though unfavorable weather has affected some operations.
Travel companies are adjusting itineraries to better suit current weather conditions and have begun restoring products for the peak holiday season.
Destinations across the province are preparing to welcome visitors during Christmas, New Year 2026 and Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) break, ensuring safety and service quality.
Many countryside and nature-experience tours are expected to reopen next month when weather conditions improve.
According to Nguyen Phi Hong Nguyen, deputy head of the Nha Trang- Khanh Hoa Travel Association, last month’s floods caused some disruptions, especially at rural tours, river-stream excursions, and certain heritage sites.
However, he confirmed that damage was limited and recovery has been swift.
“Major attractions such as beaches, islands, bays, and cultural sites are operating normally,” Nguyen said.
“Some nature-based destinations in outlying areas were temporarily affected but are being cleared and inspected for safety before reopening,” Nguyen added.
Heritage routes such as Hon Ba remain closed pending restoration, while island and bay tours continue to attract strong visitor numbers, particularly from international markets.
At Nha Trang’s tourism pier, over 2,700 tourists join bay tours each day, with more than 80 percent being international visitors, said Tran Van Phu, head of the Nha Trang tourism pier management board.
Water sports and marine activities also continue to operate safely.

According to the provincial tourism department, nearly all international markets sending visitors to Khanh Hoa are showing positive growth, except China and Thailand which have slowed slightly.
Phu elaborated that tourists from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States recorded the strongest rise, while South Korean travelers remain the largest market and maintain stable growth.
Additional direct flights from Russia, South Korea and Singapore, along with multiple international cruise ship calls are expected to boost Nha Trang’s year-end tourism performance.
Last month, Khanh Hoa and several south-central and Central Highlands provinces experienced historic flooding that caused widespread damage.
As of 9:00 am on November 25, the disaster had killed 22 residents, injured 20 others, destroyed 105 homes and damaged 909 units in Khanh Hoa, with total losses estimated at VND4.141 trillion (US$158 million).
