The result cemented its position as Vietnam's best-selling carmaker for 15 consecutive months.

The milestone was underscored by a historic performance in December 2025, when VinFast handed over 27,649 electric vehicles to customers, the highest monthly sales figure ever recorded by a single automaker in Vietnam.

This strong year-end showing pushed full-year deliveries to an unprecedented level, far surpassing sales records previously held by foreign brands that once dominated the market.

According to VinFast, its 2025 deliveries were nearly double the previous record set by overseas automakers in Vietnam, underscoring the rapid rise of domestically produced electric vehicles in the country's transportation landscape.

Small and mid-sized models catering to personal and family needs continued to form the backbone of VinFast's line-up.

The VF 3 led with 44,585 units delivered, followed by the VF 5 at 43,913 vehicles and the VF 6 at 23,291 units.

In higher segments, the VF 7 posted sales of 9,653 units, alongside larger SUVs such as the VF 8 and VF 9, as well as the ultra-luxury Lac Hong line-up.

Duong Thi Thu Trang, deputy CEO of global automotive sales at VinFast, said the 2025 results reflected balanced growth across the company's product portfolio, with total deliveries doubling from 2024.

She added that the results not only highlighted VinFast's efforts to build customer trust through product quality and service excellence, but also reinforced the firm's pioneering role in Vietnam's rapidly accelerating transition toward green mobility.

"With growing public confidence and support, I firmly believe that Vietnam will soon emerge as a regional and global leader in the transition to electric vehicles," she stressed.

To lay a strong foundation for long-term growth, VinFast said it has continued to invest in expanding its after-sales service network and charging infrastructure, enhancing convenience and peace of mind for customers throughout vehicle ownership.

The automaker now leads the Vietnamese market with around 400 service workshops and more than 150,000 charging ports nationwide, spanning 34 provinces and cities.

VinFast is also rolling out its 'Boundless Drive for a Green Future' campaign, introducing a range of incentive policies aimed at making electric vehicles more accessible to consumers across the Southeast Asian country.

These measures include zero-down-payment purchase programs, price incentives for mass-market models, and free battery charging at the V-Green network under a roadmap extending through 2027.
