Amid towering limestone mountains, the Ngo Dong River gently winds through the Tam Coc fields, creating a poetic landscape that draws visitors from near and far.
From now to late October, water lilies along both banks of the Ngo Dong River burst into full bloom from around 7:00 to 10:00 am before gently closing again.
With slender petals arranged in perfect symmetry, the blossoms form a vibrant pink carpet on the water surface.

Drawn by the breathtaking scenery, photographer Nguyen Trong Cung from northern Hung Yen Province prepared his camera gear and headed to Tam Coc to capture the beauty of the season.
He noted that the best time for visitors to enjoy or photograph the flowers is in the morning, as they close by noon.
Since water lilies are naturally vivid in color, visitors are advised to wear soft, pastel tones to stand out gracefully against the vibrant scenery along the Ngo Dong River.
