Gathered at the statue of Emperor Ly Thai To, the students played the bugle, as part of a national exhibition program titled ‘80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness.’
Amid the solemn atmosphere of the thousand-year-old capital, the students' brass instruments rang out proudly and respectfully.

The performance included a vibrant mix of revolutionary music paying tribute to past generations, traditional folk melodies, and upbeat, contemporary tunes that captured the energy and optimism of Vietnam’s youth.
Thousands of locals and tourists at the Hoan Kiem pedestrian area witnessed the event, with the music creating a powerful emotional connection between performers and audience.
This marked the first time that 100 students from the southern metropolis, aged 11 to 15, had taken to a large outdoor stage in the heart of Hanoi.
“To perform at Hoan Kiem Lake is a milestone for the students at the school,” said a representative from the school.
“Music became more than just an art–it became a tribute to the generations who sacrificed for our nation's independence," the school shared after the event.
“It also served as a reminder to today’s youth of their responsibility to uphold and carry forward this legacy.
“The public’s enthusiastic support made each note more powerful and emotional than ever,” the representative added.

Following the performance, the students marched around the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake, concluding their journey at the ‘Determined to Brave Death for the Survival of the Fatherland’ monument.
According to the school representative, the trip provided invaluable experiences for the students and teachers, blending musical expression with a deeper connection to the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
