4 indicted for making 3,500 tonnes of bean sprouts with banned chemical in Vietnam's Nghe An Province

Four men have been arrested in Nghe An Province, north-central Vietnam for allegedly producing 3,500 tonnes of bean sprouts using 6-Benzylaminopurine (6-BAP), a banned chemical known to cause serious health problems and even death, the local police department reported recently.
