-- Hoang Trung, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, has been prosecuted and detained on charges of accepting bribes in a case related to durian exports, the Ministry of Public Security said on Tuesday.

-- Police in northern Hung Yen Province on Tuesday said they have prosecuted 27 people and detained 13 others for allegedly disturbing public order after groups of young people aged 14 to 20 were found involved in illegal street racing and carrying weapons.
