The five-day festival, running from December 30, 2026, to January 3, 2027, will feature 10 groups of cultural, artistic, tourism, and experiential activities, according to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Major events will take place along Bach Dang pedestrian street, in Hoa Cuong Ward and around the northern landscape areas on both sides of Dragon Bridge, with activities also extending to Hoi An, Tam Thanh, Ban Thach and other localities across the city.

The highlights include an opening ceremony on the evening of December 31 and a countdown event titled 'Da Nang - Touching the Midnight Moment,' featuring live performances and a series of festive activities.

Dragon Bridge will stage its signature fire and water displays, while flower-decorated boats parade along the Han River.

The celebrations will also feature ship horns and non-explosive fireworks displays organized by the military.

Beyond the countdown celebrations, visitors can explore food stalls serving more than 100 dishes, enjoy nightly performances and a film showcase, capture festive moments at themed photo spots, or join a night run along the Han River.

The special Da Nang Concert 2027 and a range of cultural and sporting activities will add to the festive atmosphere.
