The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Communist Party of Vietnam as part of Xi’s two-day state visit to Vietnam, which marks his fourth official trip to the Southeast Asian country as a Chinese leader.
The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Year of Humanistic Exchange.
Man emphasized the significance of Xi's visit, calling it a milestone that deepens the comprehensive partnership and the ‘comradely and fraternal’ bond between the two nations.
He pledged that Vietnam’s law-making National Assembly would work closely with the National People’s Congress of China to turn strategic agreements between Vietnam’s Party General Secretary To Lam and President Xi into tangible outcomes.
Xi praised Vietnam’s development achievements over the past four decades and affirmed the solid foundation of bilateral friendship.
He said both nations are at pivotal stages in their strategic development and must collaborate to enhance the Vietnam-China community with a shared future -- a partnership Xi said would contribute to global peace and stability.
The leaders discussed how legislative cooperation plays a critical role in strengthening the bilateral relationship, with Man underscoring the importance of the parliamentary channel in strengthening political trust, shaping national policy, and supporting joint initiatives.
Looking forward, Man said Vietnam's National Assembly will continue close coordination with the National People’s Congress of China to improve governance, foster public understanding, and deepen people-to-people ties.

Xi echoed the need to strengthen more exchanges between the two Parties, legislative bodies, and mass organizations, and agreed to jointly build a solid legal corridor for large-scale projects – especially the proposed three standard-gauge railway lines linking the two countries.
The top Chinese leader called on both sides to deepen exchanges in building a socialist rule-of-law state and developing whole-process people’s democracy, while increasing legislative cooperation and mutual learning.
Xi also stressed the importance of managing maritime differences and enhancing multilateral cooperation to preserve the friendly neighborhood ties between Vietnam and China, helping to promote the China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
He reaffirmed his support for the Chinese National People’s Congress' closer engagement with the Vietnamese National Assembly and welcomed Chairman Man to visit China to further strengthen legislative cooperation.
